Humanity in Islam: Islam Is a Very Civilized, Compassionate and Just Religion
Human Life Is Much Valued in Islam.
At the core of the Islamic vision is an extremely high honor for the dignity of human (spiritual and social). Islam has a deep intellectual and theological heritage that contains a very paradigmatic vision of what it means to be human and now this. Read here to know Islamic Belief of Humanity — an Ethical, Moral and Spiritual framework which shapes the ethics and attitude of Muslims in regards with themselves as well as others, in relation to whatever exists around.

The Concept of Human Dignity in Islam
Human dignity is at the very heart of Islamic belief. Man in Islam is seen as being at the pinnacle of creation by Allah (God) with a unique and lofty stature. The Qur’an being the ultimate source of guidance for a Muslim brings this point to light in a series of verses. Allah says, “We created man in the best of stature” {Quran 95:4} Allah’s assertion is a proof that humanity has been endowed with a unique nature that makes human beings distinguishable from other creatures.
The intrinsic dignity of human beings lies in having been blessed with a rational soul that is capable of discerning between right and wrong and has a relationship with the Creator. This dignity is not based on race, sex, or social class but is universal and applies to every human being without exception. Islam thus commands respect and reverence for every human being and considers all as members of a universal human family.
The Role of Man in Islam
Islam describes human beings as not just residents in Earth, but custodians of Earth. The “Khalifah” role here stresses about the obligation of looking after and safeguarding the environment for justice, with adherence of social moral from the moral behaviour of society. The Qur’an explicitly declares, “It is He who has been making you Successors (Khalifah) on the earth” (Qur’an 35:39). This verse also emphasizes that the human being are a trustee of care on Earth, and everything that live there, second; polluted natural resources for economic and social systems founded on justice.
Not only is this stewardship environmental in character, but it is extended to interpersonal relations as well. In Islam, being a responsible caretaker is not only being responsible towards nature but being responsible in dealing with others as well. In a household, in an office, or in society at large, the moral demand is to live in peace and justice and respect for others’ rights and contributing towards the welfare of society.
On the Islamic Path to a Fair Society
Islamic ethics provide a forceful moral compass for individual and societal behavior that highlights justice, compassion as a vital dimension in all areas. Allah is supreme in justice i.e. justice according to Islam, justice is the essence of Allah himself. Allah is often referred to as “Al-Adl” meaning the Just. Muslims should reflect this quality in their lives, Muslims are advised.
Allah in the Qur’an tells Muslims to be just at any cost and to testify against oneself or one’s kin if necessary. Which is revealed in the verse “O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even on yourselves or more often on parents and relatives” (Qur’an 4:135)? These orders give a sense of responsibility towards justice in society so that every individual is treated with respect and dignity.
Islam is also for teaching to be merciful and showing mercy in human affairs. Mercy (Rahmah) is the theme that is repeatedly mentioned from Qur’an and also Hadith (the actions and sayings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him). Besides, Prophet Muhammad is “a mercy to the worlds” (Qur’an 21:107), and his life is commanded to be merciful to the whole of creation. This mercy to all living beings, human and the animals and is a fundamental cornerstone in setting up life based on empathy amongst the general populace.
Unity of mankind in a Call to Brotherhood—The Islamic Way
Islam taught to the mankind that we are all brothers. One of humanity, of all mankind, all colors, all races and classes is part of the Universal Family stated by the Qur’an and hadith (some verses).Verses as : “O mankind, Verily We have created you of one (self) essence And made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another.” (Qur’an 49:13) And therefore this verse also tells us that Diversity is not difference, Yes but Similarities and es which also communicates with each other.
In Islam we understand that human beings are absolutely interdependent and the condition of another is a part of you. Defined in the well known Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad “No one is a Muslim until he (sic) likes for the Muslim (brother/sister/ex brother) for that which he loves most” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]. It is a rule which crops up like zombie, ensures that all members of the community feel for one another; and regardless of religion make an effort to take care of each other.
Islamic Social Justice: Aiding the Disadvantaged
Islam is much concerned with social justice among its populace so that no one is left behind. The poor, oppressed people, orphans, and marginalized are particularly looked after in Islam. Charitable acts or Zakat are one of Islam’s five pillars and are a requirement that Muslims have to give a portion of their wealth to poor people. Not only is giving seen as a charitable gift in Islam but as a religious obligation that brings about economic justice and eliminates poverty in society.
The Qur’an says in many places that we should help the poor as : “The example of those who spend their wealth in Allah’s cause is like a seed; they grow themselves in soil” They have one full (ear of) corn, and (in addition to it) two other heear. Allah increases those whom He wills in manifold increase. “[Allah is] The All-Knowing, The Most Wise” (Qur’an 2:261)
These teachings build a society wherein poverty is replaced with income redistribution. Prophet says that Muslims have to be generous (munafiq) and compassionate as well as an integral part for social justice.
Created by the Creator … Aura of Humanity
This is a spiritual view from the perspective of Islam in relationship to mankind. Natural being man is not an isolated reality but belongs to a universal plan towards which he is to yield. At the root of Islam is that man’s life should be supported in worship of Allah and guided by His law that is revealed through the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. Such ties to Allah is exactly what gives life meaning and purpose.
Quran (51:56): “And I did not create the jinn and man but for loss (punishment, failure ) except to worship Me Allah. This verse drives Home that the End solution for human existence is realizing the sovereignty of Allah and following His commands with overwhelming thankfulness as well as obedience.
Religious connection gives him inner peace and gives some sense of mission in life resulting in this individuals embodiment of justice, compassion, and righteous.
A Hope for Humanity to have Compassion
At the risk of over-simplification, Islam is an intricate and detailed notion of humanity whose definition is centrated on value (dignity), fairness-compassion-responsibility. Islam is the grand unification system of life to allow people dignity and purpose to live, to treat other living being with respect and compassion, for the benefit of humankind / society. The Qur’an and sunnah is a simple roadmap for Muslims to see gravity human dignity, and brotherhood in Islam, to create an order of the land where peace, equity and compassion prevail.
In these values, Muslims are to be guided for establishing society as honorable where honor and welfare/right of everyone guaranteed by these Islamic values is maintained. The Islam compassionate and lawful concept of a society in which every human life has dignity and security…..
